Por invitación de la Facultad de Diseño y Arquitectura de la Universidad Católica de Temuco, llevamos esta instalación site-specific que fusiona video inmersivo, proyección láser y contenidos generados mediante inteligencia artificial.
Inspirados en los paisajes que definen la Región de La Araucanía: los volcanes del Villarrica y el Lonquimay, los lagos de origen glaciar, los bosques milenarios de araucarias y la niebla, creamos un diálogo entre lo orgánico y lo algorítmico. La IA actuó como una extensión sensible del territorio: entrenada con imágenes, texturas y atmósferas locales, reinterpretamos y recombinamos esos elementos hasta generar paisajes nuevos, imposibles, pero profundamente enraizados en el lugar. El resultado fue una experiencia sin fronteras fijas entre lo real y lo generado, entre memoria colectiva del paisaje y su proyección futura.

By invitation of the Faculty of Design and Architecture of the Catholic University of Temuco, we brought this site-specific installation that fuses immersive video, laser projection, and content generated through artificial intelligence.
Inspired by the landscapes that define the La Araucanía Region—the Villarrica and Lonquimay volcanoes, glacial-origin lakes, ancient araucaria forests, and mist—we created a dialogue between the organic and the algorithmic. The AI acted as a sensitive extension of the territory: trained with local images, textures, and atmospheres, we reinterpreted and recombined those elements to generate new, impossible landscapes, yet deeply rooted in the place. The result was an experience without fixed boundaries between the real and the generated, between the collective memory of the landscape and its future projection.
